An ultrasound is a procedure in which high-energy sound waves are bounced off internal tissues or organs and make echoes. The echo patterns are shown on the screen of an ultrasound machine, forming a picture of body tissues called a sonogram.

TNI accepts referrals from family doctors, specialists, urgent care physicians, sports medical doctors and chiropractors. Sonohysterography is a clinically valuable procedure performed to examine the uterine cavity and lining. It is also the easiest way to examine the fallopian tubes. Bone Mineral Density (BMD) is a test which detects low bone density. The most common bone density test is called dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DXA). The test involves lying on a table for 10-20 minutes, while a small x-ray detector scans the spine, hips or both.
